Imagineering Fair

Ricoh Arena, Coventry
Sat 20th October 2012 (9:00am) - Sun 21st October 2012 (4:00pm)

The Midlands Imagineering Fair returns again to the fantastic Jaguar Exhibition Hall at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

It is a fantastic family day out!

Imagineering Fairs are held at three locations each year and act as a back-up to the Imagineering Clubs held in hundreds of schools around the country.

Packed full with fun, challenges, excitement and scores of hands-on engineering and technology activities for youngsters laid on by over 20 of UK’s most well-known organisations – including Jaguar Land Rover, National Grid, Caterpillar, JCB, Delcam, Aero Engine Controls, and the Army.

There will be everything from robotics, flight simulators, pneumatics and IT to mechanical and electrical challenges, aviation and automotive engineering as well as the gravity-defying Land Rover Experience.

Youngsters will be able to see and learn at first hand about the mind-blowing technology behind our everyday lives which they will not have seen before.

There is the chance to meet Trevor Baylis, TV personality and inventor of the clockwork radio, and learn how he became a famous inventor.

Most of the action is under cover so there is plenty to occupy youngsters for hours, whatever the weather!

And each ticket is valid for both days!
