Practical Work in Physics - Teacher CPD

This session aimed at non-specialists will enable exploration of KS3 and KS4 physics.

  • Ideas for teaching topics across the physics curriculum
  • develop an understanding of how practical work can be made more relevant and effective using the inspirational context of ‘space’.

Hands-on opportunities will explore interesting and creative approaches to new and familiar practical techniques using a range of resources, publications and ICT applications.

Time: 9.30 – 15.30
Venue: National Space Centre, Leicester
Cost: £160+VAT per teacher * £150 Impact Awards are available for this course through the Science Learning Centre East Midlands*
Other: The day includes, refreshments, lunch, NEW planetarium show (We Are Aliens) and ready to use resources

As part of the partnership between the National Space Academy and the Science Learning Centre East Midlands, this CPD session will qualify for a £150 Impact Awards.

The awards are available for each qualified teacher from a maintained school attending the eligible CPD session.
