Big Bang Fair - Eastern Event

Imperial War Museum, Duxford, Cambridgeshire, CB22 4QR
Wed 10th July 2013, 9:00am til 5:00pm

The Regional Big Bang Eastern Fair is FREE to attend and will take place on Wednesday 10th July 2013.

It’s aimed at school groups who want to:

  • be inspired by exhibitions and workshops
  • display project work (Including CREST Projects)
  • enter the Regional Final of the National Science and Engineering Competition

The Eastern Big Bang is one of a series of local events that are smaller (but just as impressive) versions of the national Big Bang Fair.

The fairs encourage enquiry-based learning and stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering and maths. They also offer an insight into future careers in the local area and beyond.

The event offers a range of activities, workshops, shows and interactive exhibits for students aged 5 – 19 to participate in.

They also host the regional heats of the prestigious National Science & Engineering Competition. The competition is an opportunity to showcase your hard work and gain some well-deserved recognition for you, your students or your school! Find out more information and discover how your project may qualify by visiting the NSEC website

The winners from this Eastern Big Bang will go onto display their work at the Naitonal Big Bang Fair in March 2014.
