Healthcare Science Week

Various Schools Leicester & Leicestershire
Mon 21st November 2011 (8:00am) - Fri 25th November 2011 (3:30pm)

This is a key period in student’s education when many will be making important decisions about their future. The talks give you the opportunity to speak to students for one lesson – approx 40-50 minutes on your specialist subject. We are looking for talks about healthcare sciences and associated fields (e.g. cancer research, radiography, healthy eating, pharmacy etc) plus the more traditional roles of doctor or nurse.

Your talk will be delivered to approximately 30 students who will have volunteered to be there and/or will be interested in your subject. Occasionally there may be a larger audience, but we will check with you first that you are comfortable with this before arranging a booking. You can deliver just one talk during the week or more. We will take the bookings from schools, confirm details (including map) to speakers and accompany speakers if possible.

If you are available at some time during the week, and would be willing to help, we would really like to include you in our programme which we aim to have in schools before half term in October. Please email [email protected] for more information.
