STEM TeachMeet - for STEM club leaders

National Space Centre, Leicester
Tue 3rd July 2012, 4:00pm til 6:30pm

The main part of any TeachMeet is hearing stories from teachers and other education professionals about what works in practice. We want to know about what you do that makes your students interested in and excited about STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

At the STEM TeachMeet you can…

  1. Give a micro presentation – 7 minutes to tell us about what you are doing to inspire students in STEM.
  2. Give a nano presentation – 2 minutes to highlight one great STEM activity.
  3. Be an audience participant – just come along, ask a few questions, drink the tea and soak up the inspiration.

This is a chance for education professionals to hear ideas from each other, a chance to hear about what can really make a difference. It is about being engaged and inspired by colleagues and finding out things from people you never would have heard from otherwise.

Sarah Hill, Education Manager at the Space Centre will be hosting the event and if you get there before 4pm you will have time before the meeting to browse the exhibits.

This event is free to attend. Please book via
