Employers, can you help the workforce of tomorrow and tell us about the skills needs of your business?

The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership has commissioned York Consulting to carry out a 2018-2030 skills needs assessment, to examine the changing patterns of employment and sectors across the LLEP area, and is seeking feedback from local employers, skills providers and recruitment agencies on future skills needs.

This new research will help to inform our Local Industrial Strategy (to drive forward economic growth across Leicestershire), T Level provision and Careers provision. In addition, the information will be used for planning purposes by Further Education establishments, Skills Providers and new Skills Advisory Boards, referenced in both the Industrial and Careers Strategies, as well as informing future labour market resources to help young people and adults to be more aware of where local opportunities lie.

The research will take place between May 2018-July 2018. An online employer skills survey is now live, please click  Skills for the Future 2018 Employer Survey  by July 12 2018 to take part and inform activity for the skills needs of tomorrow.

If you would prefer to attend an employer workshop in June or July 2018 please contact Tim Allan on T: 0113 222 3545   M: 07827 816593  or email  [email protected]

You can also contact Tim Allan (as above) if you would like to give your feedback on a one to one basis directly. The research will be completed by July 31 2018, and a research report will be available thereafter on the LLEP website: www.llep.org.uk. Many thanks in advance for your help to better link skills supply to skills demands.
